Two Day Course (weekend) - Bushcraft - Shelter building : (10 am - 4pm approx)
Learn how to build pioneer style low carbon buildings, using natural local materials
We always try to apply the rule: “what commonly used /owned hand tools can be used so that students can replicate what they have learned and practised without buying a load of tools that they will never likely use again?”
Tea and coffee is available and a basic vegetarian friendly meal is provided, but if you have special dietary needs, by all means bring something to eat.
Cost: £35 per adult, - each adult may bring one child aged between 5 - 16 years at no extra charge. (NB. Child safety is the responsibility of the Parent or Guardian at all times.)

Short Course - Bushcraft - Wild Food and Herb Identification. (10 am - 1pm approx)
A foraging walk around the local countryside including 62 Acres of British deciduous woodland,
Led by our own Clinical Herbalist, Dawn, and accompanied by our Bushcraft Ranger Phil, you will be shown which plants you can eat, the ones you cannot, and plants you can use to dye fabric with. Also learn which herbs our ancestors used to make medicines from.
Tea and coffee is available at the end of the walk back where we started at our smallholding.
Cost: £15 per adult, - each adult may bring one child aged between 5 - 16 years at no extra charge. (NB. Child safety is the responsibility of the Parent or Guardian at all times.)
